Incident: LOT B734 at Poznan on Sep 22nd 2009, fire indication during landing roll

A LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 737-400, registration SP-LLD performing flight LO-6430 from Zakinthos (Greece) to Poznan (Poland), was during the landing roll out, when a fire alert activated in the cockpit. The captain decided to evacuate the aircraft via slides. No injuries occured.

 

Arriving emergency services could not find any trace of fire or heat. The airplane was towed to the apron 45 minutes after landing, the fire indication was determined false by maintenance.
